Hello to all, 11/16/07

Archie has adapted well to his new home.  He is the new King of the Marshall castle.  He is the boss!!  If you don't believe me just ask him.  He does his business just like he is suppose to(outside).  He is just a blessing to our home.  His big brother Dudley(dog) keeps him out of trouble and tells on him when he is getting into mischief.  His other brother Thunder (cat) hasn't quite figured him out yet and cannot understand how anything is smaller than himself.  Archie loves his bedroom(cage) and when he gets tired of us he goes  in and takes a nap with his duckie.  We leave the door open just in case he wants to see us again.  We will be sending photos soon.  Archie wants to send his best wishes to the rest of his kin.  He wants Grandma and Grandpa to know he is keeping his name as Archie because he loves it soo much.
Keep in touch,
The Marshall Family

Hi Dave, Donna & Ginney~4-19-2007
Well I picked up Elliot at the airport this afternoon. When the cargo person was bringing the kennel to the counter I got nervous because there was no noise. (un-like when I picked up Sherman, who vocalized his arrival) But one look in the crate and it was love at first sight. He is absolutely darling!!! and TINY!!! He had arrived safe and sound. I was shocked at how small he is. But I learned that size doesn't matter once I got him home. The others came to meet their new family member and he set them straight right from the get-go...he growled at everyone of them and even nipped if they didn't take the hint that he wasn't to be bothered just yet. I guess he now has the respect of all of them, because they don't go to him, they wait for him to come to them. He is definitely a tiny pup with survival skills....and has everyone buffaloed on how big he really isn't. He ate like he was ravenous, drank like a camel, pooped and crashed out by my feet while I'm writing this. He too will have us trained in no time flat. Poor Sherman has his nose out of joint now that he has to share his kingdom of girls and mom, with another little man....but he'll get over it. I just love him!!! Thank you for telling me about this little guy, he's absolutely gorgeous!!!

Hi Dave, 4/21/2007

Well Sherman has decided that Elliots okay and now the two of them hop, run, and tear all around the house. Sherman plays his stomp, stomp game with Elliot. It's so cute to watch, because then Elliot hops and startles Sherman, sending him tearing through the house and back for more. Jeri (Shermans girlfriend) is starting to play with Elliot too, but I have to watch her because she likes playing a bit too rough for his size yet, when she gets wound up. My little Sydney just licks him and is very jealous of anything Elliot gets and is the number one toy stealer. And the worst part is she takes them outside where she knows he can't go just yet. Keith has to put the protection around the deck so Elliot won't accidently fall off the deck. We have put this up everytime we have a small puppy, because we potty train on the deck, till the pups are big enough to actually venture into the yard and find their way back to the doggy door. This time Keith is putting up a permanent protection of lattice around the bottom of the deck, so it looks nice and does what we want for Elliot and future puppies. Unfortunately Elliot has to wait till this weekend for to be able to be outside. So right now he has to use wee pads. He actually likes his little crate you sent him in. If I put him in there, he goes right to sleep. So I'm working on a nap schedule for him, so it won't be so tramatic on him while I'm working. Otherwise I have a pen set up if he decides he wants to be awake and playing....though he screams and carrys on more when he's in the large pen than when he's in the crate...go figure. And he packs a set of lungs!!! So he's training us to just drag our feet and let him follow us all over the place.

Hi Dave, Donna and Ginney
Well, we made it home and you were right. Foxxy slept all the way home in her little basket. We had to give her something so she could prop her head up. She didn't settle down until we did that. But when she woke up she was ready to play.
We all had fun with her  once we got her home including our terrier, Buddy. She chased him all over and when she wore herself out she just fell asleep on the floor. We love her to death already.
It was so nice to meet you and your family after corresponding for all these weeks.

We are home from the vets with our Foxxy. She was wonderful and our vet said she was a keeper. He said everything about her was excellent. She was very good and well-mannered. Everyone there had to hold her. She was afraid of two huge dogs that were in the office though. They really appreciated your shot information sheet. It was so easy for them to understand. They wanted to know where we found a breeder who did such a nice job with the baby. We told them some of the extra things you do like the pictures and weekly updates. By the way she weighed 1lb. 13 oz.

After we took her to the vet, W made a visit to the bank where our daughter works. we just had to show her off. Even the customers came and commented on her.
Our son came over last night. When he was leaving Butch said you better go check on your baby. She wasn't around. Our son had picked her up , put her in his shirt and had her out in his trail blazer before I caught on. Needless to say I quickly retreived her.
I think we spoiled her a little yesterday. She cried when she was put in her cage for the night and today she wants to be at our feet and sleeping on our shoes. We took pictures at the vets and at the bank. We have a few on the digital we'll send tonight.

===================================

Hi Dave and Donna,

I just wanted to let you know that Sherman made it to Seattle alright. His flight was late so I was like worried mother hen awaiting his arrival, worrying if he was thirsty or hungry, or that he was just doing alright. He announced his arrival for me. As I was walking up to the baggage counter, there was this sound of "GET ME OUT OF THIS BOX!!!" that could be heard for quite aways. One lady who was picking up another puppy said "you have the noisey one" I said "But I have the cuter one" And I wasn't lying. He is absolutely adorable. The pictures you took (though good) didn't do him a bit of justice. He is stunning. And packs a set of lungs that tells me he will have me trained in no time flat. He drank water like there was no tomorrow at the airport, so he was definitely thirsty. I didn't have to use any Nutrical, though I brought it just in case. Once we arrived home, after being serinaded all the way home, he came out of the crate, pottied and went about meeting the rest of the four-legged family. After he pottie he bucked his little back legs as if to say I'm the king of this here castle. So much fiestiness in such a small little package....I love it! Then I gave him a spoon of Eukanuba canned as a welcome home treat. Or at least to show him what life here is gonna be like....eating the good stuff. He showed our little miss bossy that he wasn't going to take anything from her right off the bat.....he nipped her nose after a little growl. Though I'm sure it was all in play because he hit the floor prancing and hopping......following the crew around.  I'm going to shave his little pads because he looked like he was ice skating on the tile kitchen floor. He's gonna need that traction to keep up with the others. If he wasn't ice skating he was lifting his legs so high like he was walking in snow or something. It was so cute to watch. I know he's gonna feel like a real prince with being the only male in the house. His little girlfriend took to him right away, wanting to play. Sherman was taken back a little by her fast acceptance and wanting to play, but in a matter of seconds began yapping right back at her and off they went to play. I'm hoping that I can actually put the two of them together at night in the playpen or larger kennel to sleep, so he won't have to feel so alone. Besides I'm sure Jeri will enjoy the company of Sherman. We have a vet appointment this afternoon for his healthy puppy check-up and micro-chipping. I would of had you do it, but everyone here is on the Home Again chip so I figured I would just keep them all on the same registry. You do a great job breeding these beautiful pups....keep it up. I'll let you know how the vet appointment goes....though from the looks of him and his energetic actions, I'm sure he is gonna get more than a clean bill of health. Thanks again for a beautiful baby.

Shirley S-B Washington

Hi Dave and Donna,

All went well at the vet. Sherman passed with flying colors. He was a big whimp with the micro-chipping. He carried on like they had removed a limb without anethesia or something, but got over it fairly quickly.

Dave, Donna, and Ginney,

We wanted to thank you so very very much for allowing us the opportunity to purchase another one of your poms. We were quite surprised just how small Lilli was, and she was such a excellent little girl on the way home. She stayed on Leslee until about 45 min into the drive and than we put her in a soft side crate..she slept all the way. We stopped at work and showed her off, and everyone just fell in love with her.

Thanks again for giving us Lilli....she is just perfect...

Hey Dave,

We are going to the vet today.....Emme is soooo cute.  Right now she is taking all her toys from the office in to the living room.  It is so funny, because a lot of them are as big as her.  It was really nice meeting you, Donna and Ginney.  You sure raised a very sweet little girl.  She follows us everywhere.  We took her a couple of places yesterday to show her off.  And everyone loved her.  All of your updated pictures really helped us get a feel for her.  But she is definitely a lot prettier in real life!!

Thank you very much,  Diane, Terry and Taylor B.

Hello This is Tammy

I am writing you to tell you that there is no other dog like Romeo. He is the most well behaved dog in the world.  we go to the softball field with him and I have him only for a few minutes, then everyone hogs him,,,I go to the bank and the lady held up her hand and said turn around right now, and go home , you are not allowed in here without my Romeo...so i have to go home and get him,,, only two blocks away....and i get in trouble when i do not take him with me and someone wants him,,,,i usually ha to go get him... or they will.  he has become the town's property...he is just WONDERFUL!!!   if all your dogs are as good as he is then you have quite the bloodline...he is just beautiful!!!   thanks again tammy and family!!!

Hi Dave,

We made it home just fine. Lola and Molly slept entirely the whole time.  They are playing and getting to know each other.  Thank you once again for meeting us.

It only took a few hours for them to get adjusted to each other once we got home, but Lola and Molly are having a blast.  Molly gets so excited when Lola is awake because they spend hours playing.  It took Lola a little while to get used to how Molly was wanting to play with her but now Lola gives Molly a run for her money.

Dave and Donna

Well, by the time I got in the house my oldest son was in love, and he doesn't really care for dogs until Maggie.

He says when they get married and things straightened out they are going to get one, for me not to for get where I got her at.

She is so good and smart. Oh, I wanted to know what kind of shampoo you used on her. She isn't afraid of anything she ran out to the gate and up to the big dogs and was giving them kisses through the fence. She found a couple of toys all by her self. She climbed into the tub holding the dogs toys and came out with two or three. So I want to thank you for raising such a beautiful girl. I can't believe I had the luck of finding your ad out of 5,735. Thetas how many ads came up when I put in tiny poms. then I narrowed it down to Ind.and then narrowed it again and found you.  thank God I did ,she is such a precious little angel Thank you

Hi Dave and Donna,

Thought you might like to see a picture of your little girl (Marley) all grown up. She's a constant delight and my husband's baby girl. She's spoiled, pampered and very much loved. I can never express to you how glad we are to have found you and Marley.

 Love,

Dave & Donna,

Molly made it off the airplane with flying colors.  We had no idea just how much of a fuzz ball she was!!!  She was a little nervous at first, but we got back to the car to let her out to potty and she was jumping around and playing.  So....we realized she wasn't going to go to the bathroom so we came home.  Molly took a little nap in the car and when we got home she drank lots of water and then went outside to potty.  She got a Eukanuba puppy treat for going outside and when we brought her back inside she found her food.  That must have hit the spot because after that she was rip roarin to go!  She has been going 90 to nothing since we've been home.  We have already taken a whole roll of pictures just in the first half hour.

Thank you so much Dave & Donna!  God has truly blessed you both with such a wonderful talent and caring gift with these puppies.  Molly is the most beautiful puppy we have ever seen.  In our long search for another "addition" we feel like God knew we were ready and led us to you.  Molly is settling in and loves running in the yard.  We brought her back in for a little bit, but it was right back out the door to jump and jump all over the yard.

Molly is such a wonderful addition to our family.  When our pictures come back we will send you some.  Thank you both so much for such an incredible gift.

Hi Dave and Donna

Gracie slept good last night, I put her in bed with me. At 6:15 last evening she ate some of her Eukanuba, and at bedtime for her jammie snack, I fixed what you and Donna fix her and I heated it, she is eating good. We only had 1 accident in the house that was right after we got home yesterday but she didn't know where the door was yet, she has been going outside ever since. Also she smells so good and she is so beautiful! She's taking a nap now on the couch. Her favorite toys so far is her rope and kong. We are going shopping tomorrow and buy her more toys and some treats. Do you recommend any treats? We are ready for our company today, it's going to be a busy one, but it will be fun. Thank you again for Gracie! Have a nice day!

Sincerely Patty

LETTER FROM ONE OF OUR BABIES 1/16/05

HI AGAIN, MY NAME IS JEWELL. ACTUALLY, IT IS "MCNEIL'S WEE SILVER TREASURE", BUT "MOM & DAD" CALL ME JEWELL OR JULIE. YOU USED TO CALL ME "CURLEY". I WAS BORN LAST FEB. 28TH AT YOUR HOME, AND "MOM AND DAD" FOUND ME ON THE INTERNET. THEY DROVE FROM OHIO TO GET ME LAST APRIL25TH, AND HAVEN'T REGRETTED A SECOND OF IT YET! THEY SAY I AM PERFECT, WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL, AND LOTS OF OTHER NEAT NAMES. SOMETIMES THOUGH, WHEN I SET MY MIND TO IT, MOM COMES OUT WITH A FEW OTHER NAMES THAT ARE NOT AS NICE, CAUSE I LOVE TO GET HER BEACH SHOES. THAT IS REALLY THE ONLY THING I AM TEMPTED BY BECAUSE I HAVE OVER 20 STUFFED ANIMALS (MOM CALLS THEM JEWELL'S JUNGLE) AND LOTS OF BALLS, SQUEAKY TOYS ETC. DON'T TELL MOM I SAID SO, BUT I REALLY AM VERY SPOILED. I JUST WANTED TO SAY THANK YOU FOR BEING SUCH GOOD BREEDERS AND TAKING SUCH GOOD CARE OF ME UNTILL I FOUND "MOM AND DAD".

JEWELL

=

NOW A FEW WORDS FROM "MOM".

YES, WE ARE VERY FOOLISH OVER OUR LITTLE "JEWELL". SHE ONLY WEIGHTS 3.5 LBS AND IS A REAL DOLL. SHE NEVER MEETS A STRANGER AND DOESN'T HAVE A CROSS BONE IN HER TINY BODY. IF ALL GOES WELL IN A FEW MONTHS SHE WILL BE CERTIFIED AS A "DELTA THERAPY DOG". I CAN'T PUT HER IN CLASSES UNTIL SHE IS A YEAR OLD, BUT I KNOW SHE WILL BE WONDERFUL WITH VISITING PEOPLE IN THE HOSPITALS AND NURSING HOMES. SHE ALREADY SITS, STAYS, SPEAKS, TURNS ON COMMAND, LAYS DOWN, AND WRAPS HER LITTLE PAWS AROUND EVERY ONES HEART. WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH HER. YOU DID SUCH A GREAT JOB OF TEMPERAMENT BREEDING. SOME DAY I HOPE TO GET HER A COMPANION DOG, BUT AT THIS TIME OUR CATS ARE 17 AND 16, AND ARE NOT VERY FOND OF JEWELL, SO I DON'T WANT TO BRING IN ANOTHER DOG TO TORTURE THEM AS SHE LIKES TO DO. ACTUALLY SHE JUST WANTS TO LOVE THEM, BUT THEY DON'T APPRECIATE HER KISSES. PERHAPS WE WILL BE GETTING IN TOUCH WITH YOU IN A YEAR OR TWO.
I JUST GOT A COMPUTER THAT IS INTERNET COMPATIBLE, SO I MAY SEND UPDATES AND PICTURES AT ANOTHER TIME.

THANK YOU AGAIN FOR OUR WEE SILVER TREASURE! SHE IS A REAL JEWELL!

Dear Dave & Donna

Well, it's been a month since Marley joined our family. She is healthy happy, and a constant delight.  It was love at first sight when we picked her up at the airport, and it's only grown.  She's spunky, knows her own mind, and has an occasional fit of temper. She wants what she wants when she wants it. Thank you so much for trusting us with one of your babies. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you or to add to our family again with one of your babies. It's easy to see she was brought up with lots of love and attention.

Thanks once again,

Kathie

Hi Dave and Donna

Concerning Minnie now 9 months old

She is ssssoooooooooo cute!!!!!  She is about 8 inches to her shoulder and about 10inches from back of her neck to the beginning of her tail.  She has a very cute face and a silly looking overbite.  I am not sure how much she weighs but clearly under 5 pounds. We have to protect her from her celebrity in the neighborhood.  I have given your email address of wee expressions to others interested.

She and Zorro (our toy poodle) love playing together.

I wish I had a video camera to film them together.  Adorable beyond words.

Just how did you ever raise such a cute and sweet and loving little girl as Sara, She came in last night to LAX,  And you would have thought that she came out of the grooming shop, She was so clean and smelled so good. she had waited on the long trip for us to take her to the grass to do her thing. we were so proud of her. She sleep good last night,  and just now she went through the Doggy Door and I see her doing her job in the yard.  She is so Loving.

Oh thank you so much for such a lovely little girl,

Alex and Jill Ca.

===============

Well Dave,

You did it. You created a monster. He wouldn't settle in bed last night, he only wanted to play. So he got put in his play pen for the night. This morning after going outside he came in and started playing with Rebel. I went to make me some toast and turned around and he was gone. He already figured out the doggy door and he was outside with Rebel. They are playing and running around the yard. I will never be able to keep him in the house now. Oh well. He is a doll. Thanks a lot,  I will send pictures on occasion so you can see how he is doing.

Thanks again, Marie Wy

Dear Dave and Donna,

Minnie is sleeping at the moment.  It is as though she has been part of the family forever.  She had her rabies shot last week and was the wonder of the people and other animals.  She is quite cute. She weighs about two pounds to the vet's calculations.  She still eats like a horse but who could tell!!!!!!!  She is quite cheerful and cuddly and active when awake I take her for her 1000pm walk. I have to keep a close eye on her as she is very bold especially for her size. She is a lot of fun except that she do not like the groomer

Thanks Bruce MD

Dear Dave

I would like to congratulate you and Donna because you breed such beautiful dogs with great nature. My husband and I just love Djaminha to death we have had many people come up to us at the park when we take her and they offer to buy her right there but there is NO WAY!!! She's like our child seriously.

Dear Dave and Donna,

She arrived safely in Charlotte about an hour ago. She is so beautiful. She stepped off the plane looking like she had just been groomed. I wish  that I flew that well. On the way to her new home, she drank a little fresh water and ate some dry food. When we arrived, she walked around in the grass and took care of her business. We are now getting settled in and checking out the house.
